China Policy and Market Update

In November, China imported 902,899 bales (196,583 MT) of cotton, a decrease of 5.55% month-on-month (m/m), and an increase of 87.01% year-on-year (y/y). The total value was USD 311.00 million, representing a decrease of 3.26% m/m, an increase of 70.18% y/y. The U.S. ranked as the largest cotton supplier to China, Brazil the second, and India the third.
