TCA
Mission Statement
In partnership with other Texas agricultural groups, we uphold Texas as the nation’s leader in agriculture, recognizing Texas Cotton as the dominant cash crop in Texas, leading the nation in cotton production. Advocating for the U.S. Southwest region of Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, we provide a platform for communication to benefit the movement of cotton, facilitate the formation of sound trade policy, furnish an autonomous arbitration system in Texas, to advance and protect the economic, political, and social interests of our members.
Our Members
The members of The Texas Cotton Association merchandise cotton produced by thousands of cotton growers in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. The members provide a ready market for the producers’ cotton and maintain a steady supply and orderly flow of the cotton to textile mills around the world. They underwrite the risk from the time and the place the producer elects to sell his cotton until the foreign and domestic customers require delivery. It is our responsibility to deliver the cotton as efficiently and as economically as possible, and at the same time permit the producer to realize the maximum return for his effort.
