California Prop 65 Summary

Please click on the link below for the NCC’s summary regarding California’s Prop 65 as it pertains to cotton and cotton textile products. Included with the statement are Safety Data Sheets for raw cotton fiber and bleached cotton fiber, which were prepared by Cotton Incorporated.

Several of our members have recently been contacted concerning supply chain questions about California’s Prop 65 related to cotton and cotton textile products. Based on existing research, the NCC is not aware of any contaminant materials in raw cotton or cotton yarn that should be considered for a Prop 65 label or other notification.
